Camryn is Walking!

Camryn started walking about a week ago.  We are thrilled that she has hit this milestone.  We knew that she would likely be late because of her hypotonia (low muscle tone) and her rough start when she was born, but I am so glad that she started walking at 15 1/2 months and without needing any physical therapy.  She took a whopping 53 steps in a row two days ago.  She had been taking 3 - 5 steps for about 3 - 4 months before that, and then suddenly decided about a week ago that she was ready to walk, and that crawling was for babies.  (This pic is from a couple of months ago--I will try to add a walking pic later).

We are still waiting on the talking--she can say "mama" and occasionally says "dada."  Neither of those comes out very clearly, but she has just started communicating with us non-verbally, which is exciting.  She brings us a cup or bottle when she is thirsty, or she brings me a snack when she wants me to open it.  She is babbling more too, so I think she will start talking soon.

She has been the sweetest, happiest, most cuddly baby.  We just can't get enough of her.
