On Friday night, we went to the ballet. It cost us $10 for great tickets at the back
of the ground floor. Ukrainian
ballerinas are the best! The music, the costumes, and the dancing were all
breathtaking. Sleeping Beauty is by
Chykovsky. We picked that in part
because we wanted to see a real Russian ballet while we were there. I watched the entire thing, mesmerized. Chauncey enjoyed it too, but he fell asleep
somewhere in the middle. He missed the
part where sleeping beauty pricks her finger and falls asleep, and where the
evil sorceress and her minions (who were dressed like creepy rats), reveal
themselves, but I recorded it. Here is a
