Christmas Morning Magic
I love Christmas. I love spending time with family, eating delicious food, giving gifts to my kids, and more importantly, focusing on what is most important, our Savior Jesus Christ.
Yesterday we had a very cozy Christmas Eve. We went out to lunch in downtown DC at Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian buffet similar to Tucano's in Utah. It was wonderful. Later that evening, we read the Christmas story while the kids dressed up in costumes, sang Christmas carols, and opened gifts from siblings to each other, and our gifts from Grandma Larsen, which the kids loved. This morning, Chauncey made us pancakes for breakfast, and then we opened gifts. Camryn especially loved her baby doll from Uncle Benson & Aunt Celia, along with the stroller from Santa--which she pushes the doll around in. Jackson loves his Captain America costume, his Captain America action figure from Grandma Bratt, and his Finn McMissile Airplane launcher from Grandma Oaks. Maxwell is just too excited about his Spiderman robot to think about anything else. Here are some pictures and a little video with highlights of our festivities. If you watch the video, know that the very best part is Maxwell's dancing at the end!
